How to choose the correct bra :

Wearing the right sports bra size with the correct support level helps to minimize the impact of your chest's movements during exercise, allowing for an easy, pain and distraction-free workout so you can focus on your workout.

Sports Bra Sizing

How to measure your bra size accuratel?

What You Need:

  • A non-padded, non-wired bra (padded bras may add 1-2 inches).
  • A flexible tape measure.

Steps:

  1. Under Bust Measurement:
With your non-padded bra, wrap the tape measure snugly under your bust (lift your breasts if needed) and record the measurement.
  2. Bust Measurement:
Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust (usually around the nipple line), ensuring it's level and comfortable. Record this measurement.
  3. Find Your Size:
Use these measurements with our sports bra size chart to determine your perfect fit.

Why a Properly Fitting Sports Bra Matters

A well-fitting sports bra is crucial for support during any activity. Without it, you risk discomfort, pain, and even long-term breast tissue damage from excessive movement. For instance, a study found that poor breast control can reduce stride length, affecting overall performance.

Key Benefits:

  • Enhanced Performance: Reduces bounce, letting you focus on your workout.
  • Protection: Supports breast tissue and minimizes strain on skin and ligaments, helping maintain shape.
  • Comfort: Prevents issues like tight straps, pinching underbands, and chafing.

To find your perfect fit, we recommend:

  1. Accurately measuring your bra size.
  2. Considering your specific activity.
  3. Choosing a style that suits your breast size and shape.

3 Signs Your Sports Bra Fits

Here are 3 easy ways you can tell your sports bra fits correctly.

  1. Straps:
Ensure you can slide a finger under the straps. They should provide about 20% of your support—adjustable but not overly loose.
  2. Underband:
The underband should sit firmly around your ribs (providing 80% of support) and stay in place when you lift your arms. If it rides up, try adjusting the straps or consider a smaller size.
  3. Cups:
Test your bra during exercise. If your breasts poke out, the cups are too small; if they feel baggy with air pockets, they’re too big. Adjust accordingly.
